Senior Manager, Business Development

Description

The purpose of the Business Developer is to directly market RightCom’s services to potential customers that align with RightCom’s ideal customer target base. The Business Developer will be responsible for ensuring RightCom’s client list continues to grow through the application of cold/warm client calls, relationship building, networking, and by following RightCom’s daily sales cycle. Within this role the Business Developer will be responsible for many tasks, but most notably – locating, reaching out to, and building relationships with key client contacts at pre-identified target customers. Business Developers must operate in a client-focused manner, while working to extend RightCom’s reach to new customers.

The position will require direct and phone communication with our management. Most importantly, this position will require direct and phone communication with Managers, Directors, VP’s and C - Level employees at assigned prospective clients as well as 3rd party Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and IT contracting Point of Contacts (POC’s). Communication with these key decision makers is imperative to persuade potential client’s to work with RightCom.



Responsibilities
General

1. Ensure each day is commenced in an organized and purposeful manner.
2. Must embrace our vision, mission and core values. We expect all Business Developers to work every day in accordance with RightCom Core values.
3. Work to spread RightCom’s name and capabilities in designated geographical areas, industries or MSP’s.
4. Research and study RightCom’s company information, current clients, capabilities, success stories, etc. to effectively apply to sales conversations/meetings.
5. Retain knowledge of client markets (geographical/or industries).
6. Work to understand how potential clients’ vendor programs are set up through conversations (with client) so that you can determine how to move forward in selling RightCom’s services to the customer.
7. Work to understand RightCom’s business model, presence and what RightCom has to offer potential new clients.
8. Be creative. Whether it is trying to get someone to respond to you or trying to get added to a vendor list, think outside of the box. Make yourself stand out.
9. Understand the Customer Experience industry and what sets RightCom apart from our competitors (key differentiators).
10. Business Development is competitive in nature. Be respectful to your team.
11. Work closely and communicate effectively with Business Development peers, Executive Management, Recruiting Leadership, and Customer Success Manager Leadership.


Daily duties

1. Set phone meetings with potential new clients, key influencers, onsite program managers, etc.

2. Set face-to-face meetings with POC’s that you have determined would be beneficial to meet in person.
3. Create call plans/or meeting plans for meetings with potential new clients.
4. Fill out company profiles, RFI’s and related items to the best of your ability before sending it to Management for review.
5. Create and maintain relationships with potential clients by e-mail and phone call follow-ups.
6. Load designated potential clients into our CRM. If company already exists, refresh the contacts and review old notes.
7. Document, document, document. Consistently documenting the information we receive from potential clients in our CRM notes and in weekly update grids for Management review.
8. Network by using LinkedIn, industry events, e-mail, phone calls, etc.
9. Execute the weekly sales cycle for assigned direct accounts.
10. Call and e-mail clients on your designated list of “unknowns” so that you can effectively target them with the correct approach. 11. Collaborate with peer business developers and Management on how to react and/or respond in specific situations that occur.

Senior Manager, Channel Sales

Description

The Channel Sales Sr. Manager will manage all aspects of business between RightCom and several strategic oriented value-add resellers. Overall goal will be to achieve corporate sales and market share objectives. You must be able to understand the different reseller segments that source from these strategic partners, and also be able to develop, communicate and implement special programs and promotions, articulate corporate strategy and other key initiatives through all levels of the partner, including Management, Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Purchasing and Technical staffs.
You must have experience in the technology industry, and also have a solid understanding of the P&L metrics associated with the Partner channel, and have a track record of creating and maintaining strong business relationships with all levels of sales, marketing, operations, and all other aspects within this strategic partner, and assist in collaborating around consistent business reviews.


You must be able to provide RightCom management with up to date information and concerns that impact the ability to effectively sell and support our products in the channel. This includes input back in to Product Management, and also be involved with the forecasting process. You must have knowledge and understanding around sell through data, competitive updates, channel trends and competitive strategies in order for RightCom to maintain and increase its competitive position, and maintain the correct and healthy inventory levels in the channel. You will engage in partner reseller facing events, and be effective in listening to customer issues, concerns and recommendations, and drive collaborative process around resolution. This also includes conduct sales presentations that convey the correct product positioning as well as comparing our solutions to competitive offerings, and provide on-going product information and expertise to all aspects within the partner.

Required Skills & Experience

BA/BS Degree Required.
A minimum of 2 years’ experience in IT Distribution Channel or tech company.
Strong communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of management.
Ability to perform at reseller facing events, and to lead sales and product training within the Partner Strong product knowledge and competitive expertise
Ability to convey needs, wants and interests of Partners to drive effective strategies to grow the mutual business.

Software Engineer, Cloud

Description

As a software engineer, you work on a product development and can switch projects as our fast-paced business grows and evolves. We need our engineers to be self-motivated, versatile and passionate to tackle new problems as we continue to push technology forward. Build, design and implement scalable cloud-based web applications for PaaS, IaaS or SaaS.
Provide thought leadership for cloud developer technology and collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline or improve adoption of our solutions.



Minimum Qualifications

BS in Computer Science, Math, related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
3+ years of general software programming experience in Java, C/C++, Python, Go, database design and SQL, and/or knowledge of TCP/IP and network programming.
Large systems software design and development experience, with experience in Unix/Linux.

Preferred Qualifications

MS or PhD in Computer Science.
Extensive contributions on GitHub.
Experience developing applications for internet-related cloud technologies, media industries, etc. Familiarity with open source cloud and application platforms.
Solid foundation in data structures, algorithms and software design with strong analytical and debugging skills.
Good understanding of private and public cloud design considerations and limitations in the areas of virtualization and global infrastructure, distributed systems, load balancing and networking, massive data storage, MapReduce, and security.
Good understanding of Hadoop, Hive, Storm, Spark (Streaming, SQL, Mlib, GraphX), search (Solr), AI, Kafka Data visualisation, Samza, d3.js, Flask, Django, Angular.js, Jquery, Meteor, MySQL, MongoDB, Cassandra, PostgreSQL, NoSQL, Impala and Druid.
Good understanding of Mesos, Marathon, Docker, Ansible, OLTP, OLAP, CUDA GPGPUs, MPI, R.
Additional skills preferred include strong analytical and problem solving abilities.
Excellent communication skills to interact with partners, customer and support personnel. Ability to work independently or as a team member.
